WHAT IS UV/LED LASHING?
UV lashing is a newer method for applying eyelash extensions using a special adhesive that cures (hardens) instantly under a small UV light—instead of relying on air, temperature, or humidity like
traditional lash glue.
Each lash is placed as normal, but a soft UV light is briefly used to lock it into place, giving immediate hold and longer-lasting results.
IS UV LASHING SAFE?

BENEFITS OF UV LASH EXTENSIONS:
Keep in mind that no lash extension system can outlast your natural lash cycle. As your natural lashes shed, the extensions attached to them will shed as well, which is why regular fills every 2–3 weeks are recommended.
UV LASH EXTENSION AFTER CARE
For UV lash extensions, the adhesive is cured instantly with a UV/LED light, so the aftercare is a little different from traditional lash extensions. You don’t have to wait 24–48 hours before getting them wet if your lash artist uses a fully cured UV lash system.
💧 You can get them wet the same day
· Shower, wash your face, swim, or work out without waiting.
· Avoid blasting your lashes with high-pressure water.
🫧 Clean your lashes every day
· Use an oil-free lash shampoo or lash cleanser.
· Gently cleanse along the lash line to remove oils, makeup, sunscreen, and debris.
· Healthy, clean lashes last longer.
🪄 Brush daily
· Use a clean spoolie once your lashes are dry.
· Brush gently to keep them fluffy and separated.
🚫 Avoid oil-based products
· Oil-based makeup removers, cleansers, and eye creams can weaken the adhesive over time.
· Choose oil-free products around the eye area.
🙅♀️ Don’t rub or pull your lashes
· Be gentle when washing your face.
· Never pick or pull at your extensions.
😴 Sleep carefully
· Sleeping on your back is ideal.
· A silk or satin pillowcase can help reduce friction while you sleep.
👁️ Skip eyelash curlers
· Extensions are already curled.
· Mechanical curlers can damage both the extensions and your natural lashes.
📅 Book regular fills
· Schedule fills every 2–3 weeks to keep your lashes looking full.
❤️ Pro Tip
UV lash extensions are more resistant to humidity and water exposure, but good aftercare is still essential. The biggest causes of poor retention are oil buildup, rubbing your eyes, sleeping on your face, and not cleaning your lashes regularly.
